The 1869-1880 $10 United States note, popularly known as the "Jackass" note, features an eagle on the front that resembles a donkey's head when turned upside down. It also highlights representations of Indian Princess Pocahontas being presented to the Europeans on the right side and portrailt of Daniel Webster served as the 14th and 19th U.S. Secretary of State.
This particular piece is part of the 1880 series. This Friedberg #107 boasting a prominent red spike seal. PMG graded it as a remarkable Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ STAR. Its exceptional paper quality, inking, and embossing make the star a valuable enhancement. According to our research, a PMG 66 note has sold for approximately $5200, while a non-star 65 note for $4400.
