This blue-turquoise Great British 5 Pounds note is the first polymer banknote issued by the De La Rue. It has 125 x 65 mm in size. Its observed side features two portraits of Queen Elizabeth II on the right side, the Bank of England building in the center, a logo of the Bank, and the Big Ben tower inside a shadow see-thru window. On its reversed side, the portrait of Sir Winston Churchill was featured along with the view of Westminster and the Big Ben tower. This is the first note in the world that put the Kurzs Kinegram Colors holographic technology in issuing the banknote.
The actual notes may have different Prefixes and Serial numbers.
