The Samoan 2 Talas was issued by the Central Bank of Samoa to commemorative the Golden Jubilee of Service of the Head of the State-Malietoa Susuga Tanufamili II. This note was covered in blue, yellow, and red colors. It measures 140 x 72 mm. Its observed side features the portrait of the Royal Highness Malietoa Tanumafili along with the traditional houses and the Mary Roman Catholic church located in Apia. The reversed side depicts a Samoan family allegory and a National coat of arms. A Samoan Flag as a shadow window is presented on both sides of this note.
