The Seychellois 25 Rupees is a part of the 2016 commemorative banknotes series to celebrate 40 years of Seychelles's independence by the Central Bank of Seychelles. This purple-violet note measures 126 x 63 mm. On its observed sides, it features a picture of the oriental magpie-robin bird along with the Tropaeolum majus flower's images in the corner. A blue pigeon and the killifishes of Seychelles were printed on the reversed side of this note. It has a Kinetic StarChrome's see-thru window of the De La Rue company as the watermark, combining with the negative micro text of "Seychelles".
